The following external organizations and sites take a mission-based approach to following Christ.  We do not know all of these organizations well enough to formally endorse them.

  • The Pastoral Center for Christian Holiness / Vatican II Center for Parish Renewal / PastoralPlanning.com - This association of sites promotes a parish vision beginning in conversion and centered on the universal call to holiness and spirit of Vatican II.
  • Catherine of Siena Institute: Equipping Parishes To Form Lay Apostles - An affiliated ministry of the Western Dominican Province dedicated to equipping parishes for the evangelization and formation of lay Catholics for the sake of their mission in the world.
  • Simple Living Works! - A volunteer ministry that has taken over the mission and resources of Alternatives For Simple Living, promoting voluntary simplicity, particularly from a faith perspective.
  • Practical. Catholic. Evangelization - A blog exploring ideas — brainstorming, sharing, studying, researching, reflecting, and discussing the intersections of Catholic theology and pastoral practice.
  • Parish Vision: Evangelization Through Spiritual Growth - A process to counter the falling numbers of active Catholics at the local parish level.  Site includes a blog.
  • Catholic Life & Faith - Catholic Life and Faith is a place for parish ministers to turn when you need new ideas, to share experiences, learn effective practices from others, and dream with leaders like yourself.
  • New Evangelizers: Tools and Resources for the New Evangelization - Made up of six distinct yet unified ministries (see below), New Evangelizers provides free tools and resources for the New Evangelization to help Catholics know their faith, live their faith, and share their faith more effectively to empower them to take leading roles in the New Evangelization and encourage others to do the same.  Site includes an active blog.
  • ChristLife - "Catholic Ministry For Evangelization" - A formation process to turn Catholics into evangelizers.
  • The High Calling - "Everyday Conversations About Work, Life, and God" - Articles and resources on Christianity and daily life.
  • Catholic Lane - Dedicated to providing online Catholic readers timely Catholic news and articles on every aspect of the Catholic faith - from catechesis to business tips to inspirational stories - all loyal to Catholic teaching.
  • Spirituality & Practice - This multifaith and interspiritual website is devoted to resources for spiritual journeys. The site's name reflects a basic understanding: spirituality and practice are the two places where all the world's religions and spiritual paths come together.  It includes a Roman Catholic section.
